From Wuppertal – for the Wuppertal landmark – the Schwebebahn!

From Wuppertal – for the Wuppertal landmark – the Schwebebahn!

In the summer of 2021 we were able to produce the rolling grilles for the renovation of the Döppersberg suspension station. There were a total of 5 rolling grilles – 3 openings at the front and 2 internal staircases were closed with our steel rolling grilles. These rolling grilles run fully automatically including all safety devices. The light grids are hidden in a frame construction in a tamper-proof manner. The #rolling grilles were installed by our long-time partner @boldt_fassbender_gmbh!

We recently also have an Instagram account where we report on interesting objects and news about rolling grilles, rolling shutters and folding grilles! We are happy to have numerous followers!

Rolling grille for boathouse

Boathouse water police

Last year we realized this interesting property with our customer Marquart Torcenter.

Here, 3 honeycomb-shaped rolling grilles were installed on a water police boathouse. The only possible material here was stainless steel! The assembly had to be carried out laboriously using a crane – as you can see – with success!

Rolling grille type AS 55 in front of the Regina Palast Leipzig

Boathouse water police

This rolling grille type AS 55 was installed in Leipzig 5 years ago as a replacement curtain. Our profile matched the existing construction perfectly!
Here it protects the entrance area of a cinema. At the time of installation, no one knew that closed rolling grilles are unfortunately ubiquitous these days.
Hopefully going to the cinema will be back to normal soon!

The classic for underground car parks

Honeycomb-shaped rolling grilles for underground car parks

We didn’t plan this somewhat tricky entrance – but we were responsible for the production of the rolling grille together with our customer!
Our rolling grille made of galvanized steel is the classic when it comes to underground parking grilles – steel is the material of choice, especially when there are a large number of parking spaces, because longevity also means sustainability!

We say: Many thanks for the pictures to our customer Taro Tore from Remscheid!

Keroll rolling grilles from the 1950s – still running!

Rolling grille in front of a weapons shop in Wuppertal

It’s worth walking through the city centers every now and then when the shops are still closed!
Here we have rediscovered 6 rolling grilles that were installed by our company a good 70 (!!) years ago.

These rolling grilles secure a long-established gun shop in downtown Elberfeld.
Our old honeycomb shapes made of round rods with slanted cross connections made of flat steel were still installed here.
A photo that speaks for itself!
